We do not require an account and we do not store the outlines you create. This page explains what data is handled when you use OutlineAI.

Information you enter

When you generate an outline, the topic, type, detail level, and optional audience you enter are sent to our server and then to a third-party AI service to produce the result. We do not save this content or associate it with you. To limit abuse, we may keep a one-way hashed form of your network address for rate limiting for up to two days, and may cache the generated result for up to 24 hours so identical requests are faster.

Data kept in your browser

Your last five outlines and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device through our site. You can clear them from the site or your browser settings.

AI processing

Outlines are generated by a third-party AI model provider. Do not enter personal, confidential, or sensitive information as your topic.

Cookies and analytics

With your consent we may use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are not loaded if you decline.

Advertising

With your consent, we may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
